“The studio space is situated in a run-down farmhouse that is currently being renovated by owner Mel Calver (@re_rooting),” says UK-based artist Lucy Augé; it’s an interim workspace while Augé searches for a space of her own. “For now, it’s the perfect spot to work as it is so connected to nature, and I have the freedom to walk through the countryside looking for things to paint.” She uses archival materials in her work, “ensuring it’s an heirloom for generations to come,” she says.
